Our Category 6 Gigabit Ethernet cables are low profile, and offer a snagless and easy to release design with an integrated dust hood. Category 6 cable, commonly referred to as Cat6, is a standardized cable for Gigabit Ethernet and other network physical layers that is backward compatible with the Category 5/5e and Category 3 cable standards. When compared to Cat5e, Cat6 features more stringent specifications for crosstalk and system noise. While the Cat6 TIA cable standard provides performance of up to 250 MHz, our Cables are tested to exceed 350MHz and easily handles bandwidth intensive applications such as 10BASE-T, 100BASE-TX (Fast Ethernet), and 1000BASE-T/1000BASE-TX (Gigabit Ethernet) . Plugs are staggered and plated with 50 microns of gold per contact. In addition, they are TIA compliant.
