VIA VB7009 Mini-ITX Board

The VIA VB7009 is a compact Mini-ITX embedded board designed
specifically for POS and kiosk applications. With a wide variety
of CPU choices ranging from a fanless 1.0GHz VIA C7 to more
powerful options including the fanless 1.2GHz quad core VIA Eden
X4 E-Series processor, the VIA VB7009 provides superior
flexibility to meet a wide variety of embedded computing needs.

Hardware

Based on the Mini-ITX form factor measuring 17cm x 17cm, the VIA
VB-7009 integrates the VIA VX900H MSP and provides a rich set of
I/O and connectivity features, including an onboard VGA port,
onboard dual-channel LVDS, and support for up to three COM ports
and up to eight USB 2.0 ports.

Software

The VIA VB7009 is compatible with Windows 7, Windows CE 7.0,
Windows 6.0, Windows CE 5.0, Windows XP, as well as most
popular Linux distributions. A wide range of software development
tools are available, including the VIA Smart ETK.

Expandability

The functionality of the VIA VB7009 can be further enhanced with
the integration of a choice of optional high-speed Wi-Fi modules
and I/O expansion cards.
