An ST150 Dev Kit is available, providing the ST150M module on a development board with satellite and GPS patch antennas. Mounted on an Arduino Shield, it allows for the development and testing of technology designs before committing them to hardware. The ST150M Development Kit comes with a pre-installed module and 60 days of pre-authorized satellite usage time. Additionally, partners opting for the Development Kit receive one-year access to Globalstar GitHub for source code.
The Edge Application Platform enables the quick programming of AI applications for processing Smart Data. It serves as a low-code solution, unlocking the unlimited capabilities of rugged and reliable devices in the field. The standards-based architecture allows new features and upgrades to access the same hardware interfaces, APIs, and applications without specialized coding.
The platform provides access to firmware, base applications, and an extensive library of applications interfacing with various sensors. Developers can leverage hardware interfaces and APIs to access device capabilities without writing custom code. The GitHub application library encourages collaboration and sharing of apps within the developer community.
The onboard processing capacity of Realm edge devices facilitates full automation of remote processes, leading to cost savings, increased productivity, improved margins, and enhanced safety. With 24 configurable inputs/outputs (I/Os) interfacing with sensors and actuators, these devices can detect changes and take immediate, high-value actions such as preventing equipment failure, avoiding toxic releases, managing irrigation remotely, and stopping catastrophic engine breakdowns.
