Description
The SE868K5-RTK Evaluation Kit (EVK) is a turnkey platform for exploring Telit Cinterion’s dual-band L1/E1 + L5/E5 GNSS receiver. By streaming real-time-kinematic (RTK) corrections in RTCM format, the module demonstrates survey-grade <1 cm positioning—ideal for drones, robotics, precision agriculture and geospatial surveying.
Multi-constellation tracking of GPS/QZSS, Galileo, GLONASS and BeiDou across both frequencies maximizes satellite visibility and virtually eliminates multipath errors in dense urban or foliage-covered environments. The USB-powered board integrates an FTDI USB-to-UART bridge, SMA PPS output, status LEDs and convenient jumpers, so engineers can log NMEA data, inject corrections, upgrade firmware with TelitView, and even insert ammeters for detailed power profiling—all without external supplies or complex wiring.
Everything needed to start testing ships in the box: the SE868K5-RTK evaluation board, a USB-A to mini-USB cable, and a dual-band L1 + L5 active patch antenna, plus a 6 dB attenuator for lab bench work. In minutes, development teams can validate centimeter-level accuracy, characterize performance in challenging RF conditions, and accelerate integration of high-precision GNSS into their next product.
