Description
The Ellenex CDO2-L is an industrial-grade, LoRaWAN-enabled optical dissolved oxygen sensor designed for long-term, low-maintenance monitoring in water and environmental applications. Using a luminescent optical measurement principle compliant with ASTM D888-05, the CDO2-L delivers high-accuracy dissolved oxygen readings without the need for recalibration. It supports measurement ranges of 0–20 mg/L, 0–20 ppm, and 0–200% saturation, with fine resolution and integrated temperature compensation, making it suitable for regulatory reporting, wastewater treatment, and surface or marine water monitoring.
Built for remote and harsh environments, the CDO2-L features an IP68-rated stainless steel 316L sensor head and a UV-protected enclosure with optional cylindrical or rectangular form factors. An ultra-low-power design, powered by a replaceable internal lithium battery, enables over 5,000 readings and transmissions—typically exceeding five years of field operation. The device operates on LoRaWAN Class A (Class C optional), supports OTAA and ABP activation, and is compatible with all major LoRaWAN frequency bands and network providers.
The sensor is preconfigured for out-of-the-box deployment and supports over-the-air configuration and firmware updates via LoRaWAN downlinks. Data can be visualized and managed through the Ellenex white-label IIoT platform or integrated directly into leading cloud and industrial IoT platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Siemens MindSphere via APIs. This makes the CDO2-L a scalable and reliable solution for continuous dissolved oxygen monitoring across water, agriculture, industrial, and environmental use cases.
