Nanothings NanoTag | LoRaWAN Temperature Sticker (Senet)

The world’s smallest, lowest-cost, and most versatile location tracker and temperature sensor

Buttonless

Buttons add cost and user confusion. Users are 90% more likely to configure a device incorrectly when buttons are present.

Activation tab

The activation tab has a dual purpose. Removing the activation tab activates the NanoTag, and the activation tab can be attached to paperwork as proof of use.

Flexible substrate

100-micron-thick PET film provides mechanical flexibility without compromising tensile strength or durability.

Description

The patent-pending NanoTag is the first and only LPWAN sensor to boast a label-like form factor. Despite leveraging an antenna thinner than a human hair, the NanoTag is capable of extreme range and resiliency in the toughest RF environments, including sealed tractor trailers, cargo containers, cold storage facilities, and walk-in freezers. Equipped with a pharmaceutical-grade temperature sensor, the NanoTag can handle almost any temperature monitoring use case (hot and cold). While the temperature sensor is a standard feature on all NanoTags, the NanoTag is the world’s most economical and easy-to-use asset-tracking device. Simply tear, peel, and stick the NanoTag LoRaWAN Temperature Sticker to virtually any product to track its approximate location in real time by leveraging the location estimator functionality of LoRa Cloud or any LoRa network server.

Hybrid printed manufacturing

NanoTags are manufactured with an innovative hybrid printing process. Developed and patented by NanoThings, hybrid printing is a manufacturing process that enables 10× the scalability of traditional electronics manufacturing. Key components, like the antenna and connective circuitry, are printed on a flexible substrate to reduce size and cost while enabling mechanical flexibility. Nonprintable components, like silicon and an ultra-thin flexible battery, are surface mounted after the printing process.

The result is a device with a significantly smaller form factor, carbon footprint, and cost to produce.

LoRaWAN-ready

The NanoTag LoRaWAN Temperature Sticker has been tested extensively and deployed commercially across LoRaWAN in North America, Europe, and Asia. For North America, the NanoTag also comes FCC certified. (Any changes to the antenna, chip, or any other RF components of the NanoTag may void FCC certification.)
