The Dragino SDI-12-LB is an SDI-12 to LoRaWAN Converter designed for Smart Agriculture solutions. SDI-12-LB uses an SDI-12 interface with a 12 V output to power the external SDI-12 sensor. After obtaining the data via SDI-12, it sends the information over LoRaWAN at extremely long ranges at low data rates, allowing ultra-long-range spread spectrum communication and high interference immunity while minimizing current consumption. SDI-12-LB is powered by an 8500 mAh Li-SOCl₂ battery, designed for longterm use of up to 5 years. Each SDI-12-LB comes preloaded with a set of unique keys for LoRaWAN registrations, and registering these keys to a local LoRaWAN server will cause it to automatically connect after powering on.
