Description

The Dragino LMS01-LB is a LoRaWAN Leaf Moisture Sensor for IoT of Agriculture. It measures leaf moisture and temperature, sending data to the platform to analyze leaf statuses such as watering, moisture, dew, and frozen status. The probe is IP67 waterproof.

LMS01-LB detects leaf moisture and temperature using the FDR method; it senses the dielectric constant caused by liquid over the leaf surface, and converts the value to leaf moisture. The probe is designed in a leaf shape to simulate real leaf characteristics. The probe has a density of 15 leaf vein lines per centimeter, allowing it to sense the smallest of water drops accurately.

The LoRa wireless technology used in LMS01-LB allows the device to send data and reach extremely long ranges at low data rates. It provides ultra-long-range, spread-spectrum communication and high interference immunity while minimizing current consumption.

LMS01-LB is powered by an 8500 mAh Li-SOCI2 battery, designed for long-term use for up to five years.

LMS01-LB supports BLE configuration and wireless OTA update for ease of use.

Each LMS01-LB is preloaded with a set of unique keys for LoRaWAN registrations; register these keys to a local LoRaWAN server, and it will auto-connect after powered on.
