Description

The GL500MA asset tracker is a powerful, IP67-compliant, waterproof GNSS tracker powered by a CR123A lithium battery pack. Configuration allows the device to wake up on a preset schedule to check if it needs to shift from dormant to active status and/or send an update of its current location, then return to a dormant state. Optimally configured, the device will operate up to seven years. Its built-in 3-axis accelerometer allows the GL500MA to detect asset movement and transmit an alert message to a mobile phone or backend server via SMS though the integrated @Track interface protocol. System integrators can easily incorporate the GL500MA into existing tracking systems based on this full featured protocol. The GL500MA has an internal temperature sensor as well as an internal light sensor for tamper detection.
