Description

The GL500MA-R asset tracker is a powerful, IP67-compliant, waterproof GNSS tracker powered by a CR123A lithium battery pack. Configuration allows the device to wake up on a preset schedule to check if it needs to shift from dormant to active status and/or send an update of its current location, then return to a dormant state. Optimally configured, the device will operate up to seven years. Its built-in 3-axis accelerometer allows the GL500MA-R to detect asset movement and transmit an alert message to a mobile phone or backend server via SMS though the integrated @Track interface protocol. System integrators can easily incorporate the GL500MA-R into existing tracking systems based on this full featured protocol. The GL500MA-R has an internal temperature sensor as well as an internal light sensor for tamper detection.
