Description
Pre-Charged. Preconfigured. Globally Connected. Ready for One-Time Deployment.
The Qualcomm QTS110 Single-Journey Tracker arrives fully charged, activated, configured, and ready to deploy. Simply place it inside your shipment and monitor the journey through the TrackingForLess™ dashboard.
Designed for valuable, sensitive, or time-critical shipments, the QTS110 combines global cellular connectivity with location intelligence and environmental sensors that monitor temperature, humidity, pressure, light, motion, tilt, and other important conditions throughout transit.
With location and sensor data reported every 15 minutes and up to 25 days of battery life, the QTS110 provides a straightforward, standardized solution for one-time shipments—without charging equipment, complicated setup, or mandatory return logistics.
How Single-Journey Tracking Works
- Receive your ready-to-deploy tracker
The QTS110 arrives fully charged and activated with standard 15-minute reporting. - Place it with the shipment
Pack the tracker inside the parcel, pallet, container, or other shipment. - Monitor the journey
View location, sensor readings, and shipment events through the TrackingForLess™ Tracking Platform. - Complete the journey
Once the shipment reaches its destination, no return is required. The recipient can recycle the device responsibly or participate in our Green Program for return and recycling assistance.
Closing the Loop on Logistics
Electronic waste is the fastest-growing waste stream in the world, with over 62 million metric tons generated globally in a single year—and less than 22% properly collected and recycled. Single-use tracking devices play a vital role in protecting your high-value cold chain and chain-of-custody shipments, but their journey shouldn’t end in a landfill.
Through our Green Program, we make responsible disposal effortless.
How Our Green Program Works:
- Submit: Fill out a quick 60-second online request form.
- Ship: Once your request has been processed, we will electronically send you a free prepaid shipping label and instructions to return the tracker.
- Earn: Receive an exclusive reward as soon as your device arrives at our certified recycling facility.
A Simpler Way to Track One-Time Shipments
Reusable trackers make sense for closed-loop operations where devices regularly return to their starting point. They can become far less practical when products are shipped to customers, hospitals, laboratories, job sites, distributors, or international destinations that may never return the tracking equipment.
The QTS110 Single-Journey offering is designed for these open-loop shipments.
Each tracker is supplied fully charged and activated with a standardized 15-minute reporting schedule. Your team simply places it with the cargo and monitors the journey through the TrackingForLess™ Tracking Platform. The battery is designed to support journeys lasting up to 25 days under the standard reporting plan, and no tracker return is required after delivery.
This makes advanced shipment intelligence more accessible for one-time, high-value, high-risk, or compliance-sensitive deliveries—without creating a device-recovery process afterward.
Applications include: Pallet tracking, equipment tracking, cold-chain monitoring, container shipment tracking, in-transit theft protection, vaccine transportation, pharmaceutical shipments, high-value electronics, medical equipment, international freight, industrial parts, and other time-sensitive or condition-sensitive cargo.

More Than a Location Tracker
Knowing where a shipment is located is only part of the story. The QTS110 helps provide evidence of what happened to the cargo while it was moving.
Shipment data may help answer questions such as:
- Where is the shipment now?
- Did it experience a temperature or humidity excursion?
- Was the package opened or unexpectedly exposed to light?
- Was the shipment dropped, tilted, or handled improperly?
- Did it remain stationary longer than expected?
- Did it deviate from its anticipated route?
- When and where did a potentially damaging event occur?
- What were the environmental conditions during transportation?
This information can help teams investigate claims, improve carrier performance, document handling conditions, reduce uncertainty, and make faster decisions when an exception occurs.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is the QTS110 physically different from the standard tracker?
The underlying QTS110 hardware may be the same. The single-journey offering is differentiated by its deployment model: the tracker is supplied for one shipment and can be delivered charged, activated, configured, and ready to use without requiring its return.
Is it ready to use when it arrives?
Yes. The tracker arrives fully charged and activated with standard 15-minute reporting. Simply place it with the shipment and use the TrackingForLess™ Tracking Platform to monitor the journey.
How long will the battery last?
The tracker provides up to 25 days of battery life under the standard 15-minute reporting configuration. Actual performance may vary based on network availability, positioning conditions, sensor activity, environmental conditions, and other factors encountered during the journey.
Can it track shipments indoors?
The QTS110 combines GNSS with cellular and Wi-Fi-based positioning. This provides more location options than GPS-only trackers, particularly around warehouses, distribution facilities, and other indoor or GPS-challenged environments. Location availability and precision will vary by environment.
Can we receive temperature alerts?
Yes. Temperature thresholds and notifications can be configured for appropriate deployments, allowing teams to identify possible excursions during transit.
Can it detect when a package is opened?
The ambient light sensor may identify a change in light exposure when a tracker is placed inside a closed package. This can provide an indication of possible opening or tampering, depending on tracker placement and configuration.
Do we have to return the tracker?
No. Returning the tracker is not required under the single-journey model. Because the device contains electronics and a rechargeable lithium battery, however, it should not be discarded in ordinary waste.
Customers can participate in our Green Program and receive a reward for helping return used trackers to Embedded Works for responsible recycling. This provides an easy option for organizations that want the simplicity of single-journey tracking while supporting more responsible end-of-life handling.
Can you support bulk deployments?
Yes. We can discuss project pricing, configuration, kitting, activation, dashboard setup, and deployment support for recurring or high-volume shipment programs.
