WPEQ-268AXI(BT), the first Qualcomm based WiFi-6 (802.11ax) mini PCIe module, running PCIe (Wi-Fi) and USB (BT), supports DBDC (tri-band, dual-concurrent) mode, but with tri-band capability (2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, and 6 GHz). WPEQ-268AXI(BT) can concurrently run 2.4 GHz with 5 GHz, or 6 GHz, and support full IEEE802.11 ax/ac/a/b/g/n protocol, up to 160 MHz mode.
WPEQ-268AXI(BT) is designed with 2 spatial streams (2T2R, or 2×2) in MU-MIMO mode. With a standard mini PCIe (half-height) form factor, WPEQ-268AXI(BT) can accommodate all existing platforms with a pre-integrated mini PCIe adaptor, no extra work with platform design.
Utilizing the Qualcomm WCN6856 chipset, WPEQ-268AXI(BT) supports Windows, with Linux (Open Source) in the pipeline. The module can run on both x86 and ARM based platforms, supports STA mode and Soft AP Mode, and is recommended for digital signage/POS, rugged computer/tablets, fanless automation PC, and other industrial environment applications requiring high-speed data transmission.
