High performance, cost-effective, fast development

The Cellular IoT Edge Gateway, InGateway502, performs local data acquisition using the serial or Ethernet port. Sending data to major IoT platforms like Azure IoT Hub (Microsoft), AWS IoT (Amazon), Thingsboard, and customers’ private MQTT cloud is also possible. InGateway502 performs data acquisition with the following protocols: Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP, OPC UA, EtherNet/IP, ISO TCP, PPI, etc.

High-performance capabilities for edge computing

The InGateway502 is equipped with the hardware required for full-scale IoT edge computing, including a high-performance ARM Cortex-A8 processor, 600MHz, high capacity DDR3 RAM up to 512MB and 8GB eMMC Flash, which gives the cellular gateway powerful edge computing capability, providing computing resources for data optimization, real-time response, agile connection, and intelligent analysis on edge nodes.

Multiple industrial protocols supported

The InGateway502 could acquire data from PLC or meters via multiple industrial protocols such as Modbus TCP, Modbus RTU, ISO on TCP, etc, and upload these data to the monitoring platform via MQTT.

Supports major IoT cloud platforms

InHand became a partner of Microsoft and Amazon, providing users with multiple industrial cloud solutions. The cellular edge computing gateway supports Microsoft AZURE, Amazon AWS, and the ThingsBoard cloud platform. At the same time, with the integrated Device Supervisor app, you can collect, process, and upload data from PLC to these cloud platforms over multiple industrial protocols.

Custom Python development platform

The InGateway502 delivers a Python development platform where users can customize applications according to their business. Meanwhile, InHand Networks offers a software development kit (SDK) and app, which easily invoke interfaces and resources of the system.

Remote centralized management

InGateway502 is also compatible with the InHand Remote Management System. This platform allows remote management and monitoring of the status and parameters of all cellular routers & gateways by InHand Networks
