The TTU-2820-CDMA high-value tracking unit from CalAmp features asmall size, superior GPS performance, an internal 3.8 Ah batteryand three Inputs/Outputs (I/O). The TTU-2820-CDMA is a completevehicle tracking and communications device incorporatingnext-generation, super-sensitive GPS on GPRS, CDMA andHSPA for installation in any 12 or 24 V vehicle. Messages are transported acrossthe cellular network using enhanced SMS or UDP messaging providinga reliable communications link between the device and yourapplication servers.

The TTU-2820-CDMA employs CalAmpﾒs industry leading on-board alertengine, PEG (Programmable Event Generator). This advanced enginemonitors external conditions and supports customer-definedexception-based rules to help meet the needs of your application.PEG continuously monitors the vehicle environment and respondsinstantaneously to pre-defined threshold conditions related totime, date, motion, location, geo-zone, input and other events.
Over-the-Air Serviceability
The TTU-2820-CDMA also leverages CalAmp’s industry leadingover-the-air – PULS(Programming, Updates, and Logistics System). Configurationparameters, PEG rules, and firmware can all be updated over theair. PULS offers out-of-the-box configuration andautomatic upgrades. Monitor unithealth status across fleets to identifyissues before becoming problems.
