The Dragino GroPoint Air is a LoRaWAN soil moisture and temperature sensor for IoT of agriculture. It is designed to connect to the GroPoint Profile Multi-Depth Soil Moisture and Temperature Profile Sensor to gather soil information, which is sent wirelessly.
The GroPoint Air uses LoRaWAN technology to send the various soil information, allowing ultra-long-range spread spectrum communication and high interference immunity while minimizing current consumption.
The GroPoint Air is powered by an 8500 mAh Li-SOCl₂ battery, designed for long-term use of up to 5 years.
Each GroPoint Air comes preloaded with a set of unique keys for LoRaWAN registrations, and registering these keys to a local LoRaWAN server will cause it to automatically connect after powering on.
